But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control...If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Lifeline of Ted Speer
Theodore Albert Speer was born on April 17, 1961 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Tim and Linda Speer.

While growing up, Ted was always a good and kind boy.
Tim and Linda divorced and Linda met to Sam Garrison in 1969 and were married in 1971. Ted would become the oldest of 10 siblings.
The family moved from Colorado Springs to Southern California.
Ted loved his family and would often watch and play with his youngest brother Sammy.
Ted was a positive example to all which explained his nickname “Steady Teddy” given to him by friends. In school, Ted joined the ski team, did school
The family settled in Wrightwood California where Ted attended Serrano High School his junior and senior years and graduated in 1980.
Ted and Janelle met in February 1985 in Wrightwood while Ted worked at Mountain High Ski Resort in Lift Maintenance.
They were married in 1986.
Ted and Janelle would have their first child, Tarra, while living in Wrightwood.

Ted with his second born, Tyler.
They quickly had 3 children – Tarra, Tyler and Toni and moved from Wrightwood to Chino Hills California in 1989.

Through involvement in church, Ted & Janelle would come to develop deep, life-long friendships such as with Greg & Jill Welch.

Ted could often be found playing guitar in his garage with worship and country songs.
Ted taught Tyler how to play and found joy in small "jam sessions" with his son.
Ted and Janelle would become known for hosting family get togethers and people from the church in their home.
